STUDENTS SHOW AMAZING PROGRESS IN SUMMER ENGLISH LEARNER PROGRAM
A program piloted by the District over the summer has given students new to the United States a jump start on learning. After just one month in the immersion program, students gained an average half-year growth in reading and math. To read more about this program, click here.
Free and Reduced Price Student Meals
Did you know that applying for free and reduced price school meals is easy and confidential for you and your children? What’s more, if you qualify, you can save on your SDG&E gas and electric rates, mobile phone plans, Internet service, and even home computers.
Parents and guardians of students who were in grades 3 - 8 during the 2015-2016 school year should have received a Student Score Report in the mail. The Student Score Report details results from the Smarter Balanced Assessments taken during Spring 2016. The California Department of Education has published a Test Score Guide and video that help explain information in the report. Parents and guardians who did not receive a report should contact the school office.
