  • New California School Dashboard

     

    California is field testing a new website designed to help communities across the state access important information about K–12 districts and schools – including ours. Called the California School Dashboard (Coming March 2017), the site features easy-to-read reports on multiple measures of school success, including test scores, English learning progress and suspension rates.

  • Understanding your child's Student Score Report

    Parents and guardians of students who were in grades 3 - 8 during the 2015-2016 school year should have received a Student Score Report in the mail. The Student Score Report details results from the Smarter Balanced Assessments taken during Spring 2016. The California Department of Education has published a Test Score Guide and video that help explain information in the report. Parents and guardians who did not receive a report should contact the school office.

  • Important Changes to the 2016-17 School Calendar

    At the April 19, 2016 Board of Trustees meeting, the following changes in the 2016-2017 calendar were adopted:

    FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2016 is changed FROM a student non-attendance day TO a student attendance day. Additionally, the date is changed FROM a staff development day TO a regular staff attendance day.

    FRIDAY, DECEMBER 23, 2016 is changed FROM a student attendance day TO a student non-attendance day. Additionally, the date is changed FROM a regular staff attendance day TO a staff development day.

  • Transitional Kindergarten
    Transitional kindergarten (TK) is the first year of a two-year kindergarten experience offering children a developmentally appropriate curriculum taught by credentialed teachers to ensure students enter kindergarten with the academic, social and emotional skills needed for success.
