    Welcome!

Our focus at Northmont Elementary School is providing a quality educational experience for our students which includes academic challenges, creative expression, physical well being, community events, and strong character development support. Students are encouraged to problem solve and treat each other and staff with respect. As a school community we work on one central character trait each month.

Join the "paperless movement" and avoid missing an important communication about School & PTA Events, After-School Activities /Clubs, Sports Activities and Community Events/Information. Sign up for "Peach Jar" by clicking the button below.  As a school we will be moving towards a "paperless" system by moving our flyers to Peach Jar.  Don't Miss Out!

  • Birthday Treat Policy Change

In an effort to be more inline with our District Wellness policy and to support the important education we provide our students in health and fitness, we will no longer accept edible treats such as cupcakes, cookies, cakes, pizza or lunch items, etc. to celebrate birthdays.

Please save the sweet goodies for the birthday party at home.  Instead, consider providing an alternative treat such as: a special pencil, eraser, or other small trinket for all students in the class, or donate a book to the class library in your child's name.  Your child's teacher may have other ideas as well.

We will no longer accept any edible birthday treats or lunch foods either delivered to the office or delivered to the classroom.  Thank you very much for being supportive of this new policy, which will be a healthier option for all of our students.

    Peace Circle

We begin each morning with our Peace Circle on the Blacktop. This is a great way for us to start the day as a school community. Our staff, students, and families have an opportunity to hear announcements, participate in our Pledge of Allegiance, and our Peace Pledge. We also praise students and adults for academic growth, peace builder behavior, excellent effort, and a variety of other positive contributions to our school community. If you haven't been out to join us at our Peace Circle please plan a visit.
