SVA Family Weekly Updates for the week of October 22, 2018:
Tuesdays: Students are dismissed from school early on Tuesdays. Students in grades 4-6 are dismissed at 1:50. Students in grades 7-8 are dismissed at 2:15.
School Site Council: SSC meets this Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 8:00am in the SVA Library.
Internet Safety presented by San Diego Police Association for parents: Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 5:30-6:30 in the La Mesa Arts Academy Auditorium. Please join us. Click here for more information.

Red Ribbon Week: October 29-November 2 is Red Ribbon Week at SVA. Spirit Dress Up Day and Activity schedules will go out in next week's SVA Family Weekly email.
Halloween: Students will be allowed to wear dress-code appropriate costumes to school on Halloween. Costumes must not distract from our valuable learning. Masks, weapons, and replica weapons are NOT allowed. If a costume is not dress-code appropriate, students will need to change. Click here to review our school dress code.
Jupiter Grades: Please be sure to check your child's grades via Jupiter regularly. You may also use Jupiter Grades to communicate with your child's teachers. If you do not have access to Jupiter Grades, please reach out to our office.
Drop Off and Pick Up: Student drop off and pick up routes may be accessed via Roger's Road. The Sheriff's Department will begin monitoring Conrad Drive during drop off and pick up times. It is unsafe for students to be dropped off on this busy road. Please be sure to use the designated drop off and pick up route.
Spring Valley Academy is a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy - a commitment to high quality, challenging international education that Spring Valley Academy believes is important for our students.
