Casa de Oro’s Red Ribbon Week Activities
Kids get a “Future’s So Bright, No Drugs in Sight” bracelet- wear all week.
On Monday, wear bright or neon clothes to celebrate our bright futures.
Writing Contest Starts-Theme: “My Future’s So Bright”. Kids will get today and write in class or their teachers may choose to send it home to be complete. Each class will have at least one winner.
Kids get “Drugs Don’t Make Cents” sticker. Bring in spare change this week, starting Tuesday. (Money will be donated to CDO to buy playground equipment.)
“Drugs Don’t Make Cents, but Healthy Bodies Do”
Wear favorite sports team shirt or jersey.
Turn in spare change to be used to purchase playground equipment for CDO. Being active is a great way to stay healthy!
Kids get “Catch the Wave of a Drug-Free Life” sticker to remind them to wear Hawaiian clothes tomorrow.

Turn in spare change for playground equipment to promote healthy lifestyles at CDO.
Students will pick a duck from the “Duck Pond” and win a Red Ribbon Week prize.
“Follow Your Dreams, Don’t Do Drugs”
Wear pajamas. (Must wear shoes, NOT slippers).
Writing Contest entries due to office by 2:30.
Tomorrow is the last day to turn in spare change for playground equipment.
Say “Boo to Drugs.”
Wear orange and black or Halloween shirt (NO costumes).
Get a “Say Boo to Drugs” lollipop.
Writing contest winners will be announced next week and prizes passed out. Some writing samples will be posted around school.
