Classified Bargaining Update

Today, the District and CSEA negotiated and agreed to the following:

The Personnel Commission presented bilingual job descriptions for school office assistant, school office manager, office assistant I and II, and health/attendance technician. The District and CSEA approved the implementation of these job descriptions and addressed the effects related to the establishment of these new positions. After ratification, they will go before the Personnel Commission for approval and salary recommendation, and will later go to the LMSV School Board for salary approval.

The District and CSEA agreed to a classified calendar for the 2020-2021 school year.

The District and CSEA updated Organizational Security language in Article 3.

The District and CSEA updated Vacation language in Article 10.

CSEA gave notice to open on Article 22 District Rights. At our next session, we will also bargain the job family classification and compensation study. We look forward to our next session.
