The more parents involved with the PTA, the more we can do for our students and school. There are many ways you can get involved, from helping at events to fundraising and attending PTA meetings. This overview explains each volunteer opportunity, what it involves, and the approximate time commitment. No experience is needed and we will train you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lmsvschools.org\/lamesadale\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2026\/02\/PTA-Volunteer-Opportunities.pdf\">Volunteer Opportunities<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PTA Board Meetings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our PTA Executive Board meets once a month on the first Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PTA Calendar of Sponsored Events<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The PTA sponsors and hosts several events throughout the school year. Some of these events are fundraisers to help raise proceeds for the school and enrich the students&#8217; experiences at La Mesa Dale Elementary. Our main fundraiser event is the annual Rainbow Dash, which raised thousands of dollars for our amazing Art Docent Program, assemblies, and field trips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The PTA impact<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All PTA fundraisers and donations go directly back to the students and teachers.<br>&#8211; A flourishing Art Docent Program<br>&#8211; Run Club every morning<br>&#8211; Community Garden<br>&#8211; Field trips<br>&#8211; Assemblies<br>&#8211; Books for classrooms<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PTA Thanks you for investing in La Mesa Dale families.<br><\/h2>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We welcome your involvement!
