Birthday Treat Policy Change
In an effort to be more inline with our District Wellness policy and to support the important education we provide our students in health and fitness, we will no longer accept edible treats such as cupcakes, cookies, cakes, pizza or lunch items, etc. to celebrate birthdays.
Please save the sweet goodies for the birthday party at home. Instead, consider providing an alternative treat such as: a special pencil, eraser, or other small trinket for all students in the class, or donate a book to the class library in your child's name. Your child's teacher may have other ideas as well.
We will no longer accept any edible birthday treats or lunch foods either delivered to the office or delivered to the classroom. Thank you very much for being supportive of this new policy, which will be a healthier option for all of our students.
School Safety and Student Security
Anyone accessing our campus must sign-in at the school office with a valid State Issued Identification and wear a badge. Please always bring your ID with you to visit, volunteer and also when checking a student out of school early. You can obtain more information from the office staff regarding these procedures.
If you have information to report about an incident at your child's school or for questions regarding school safety, please contact the principal.
