School Site Council Meeting

SCHOOL SITE COUNCIL

School Site Council is a group of representatives of staff, parents, and community members.  The primary function of this group is to assist with school governance.  The SSC has a number of important responsibilities including:

Reviewing and analyzing student achievement

Gathering community input

Helping develop the Single Plan for Student Achievement

Monitoring the implementation of the plan and budget.

 

The group will meet approximately 6 times throughout the year (Wednesdays at 2:30pm).  Agendas will be posted at least 72 hours in advance of the meets.

 

Anyone may attend SSC meetings, but you must be elected to vote on the issues.  We would love for you to be a part of the process.  If you are interested in becoming a member, please contact the Loma Office or e-mail Karla Nicholass, School Office Manager: karla.nicholass@lmsvschools.org.  Look for nomination forms and ballots to be coming out in the first week of school.
