General Guidelines:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Scheduled Breaks:<\/strong>\n
      \n
    • Students are encouraged to use the restroom during scheduled passing periods, lunch, or whenever possible.
      <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Classroom Pass System:<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • Each classroom will maintain a restroom pass.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Only one student per class<\/strong> may leave to use the restroom at a time.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Student must sign out and in using a designated log (digital or paper for substitute teachers or special circumstances).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • A campus attendant will sign a student in and out of the restroom.
        <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Time Limits:<\/strong>\n
          \n
        • Restroom trips should typically take no longer than 3-5 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Excessive time away may prompt a wellness check or administrative follow-up.
          <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Communication\/Expectations:<\/strong>\n
            \n
          • Only 4 students at a time are permitted inside the restroom.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Beginning of the year slides will communicate procedures to students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Support from Campus Attendants:<\/strong>\n
              \n
            • Campus Attendants will monitor restrooms throughout the day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Campus Attendants will maintain a sign in sheet with student names and time in\/out of restroom throughout class periods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Campus Attendants will check inside the restrooms every 15 minutes and verify over the radio.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              Accountability and Misuse:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

              • Misuse of Passes (e.g., loitering, skipping):<\/strong>
                <\/strong>\n
                  \n
                • May result in a warning, parent contact, or possibly escort sto the restroom.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Repeated issues may involve administration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
