{"id":3057,"date":"2026-02-02T10:58:30","date_gmt":"2026-02-02T18:58:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.lmsvschools.org\/steamacademy\/?page_id=3057"},"modified":"2026-02-02T11:20:24","modified_gmt":"2026-02-02T19:20:24","slug":"cell-phones","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.lmsvschools.org\/steamacademy\/cell-phones\/","title":{"rendered":"Cell Phones"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>State Law allows students to have cell phones on campus in case of an emergency<strong>; however, cell phones are to be OFF and in backpacks when entering campus.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students are <strong>forbidden<\/strong><strong> <\/strong>from using cell phones to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Call or receive phone calls<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Send or receive text messages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take photographs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Record students or staff\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access the Internet during school hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Cell phones seen or heard will be taken without warning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is the guardian&#8217;s responsibility to pick up any cell phone that is confiscated. <br>(Phones will NOT be given back to students at the end of the day, solely guardians.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Disciplinary actions may also be taken for continued defiance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The school is not responsible for lost or stolen cell phones.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>State Law allows students to have cell phones on campus in case of an emergency; however, cell phones are to be OFF and in backpacks when entering campus.\u00a0 Students are forbidden from using cell phones to: Cell phones seen or heard will be taken without warning.
