General Guidelines:
- Scheduled Breaks:
- Students are encouraged to use the restroom during scheduled passing periods, lunch, or whenever possible.

- Classroom Pass System:
- Each classroom will maintain a restroom pass.
- Only one student per class may leave to use the restroom at a time.
- Student must sign out and in using a designated log (digital or paper for substitute teachers or special circumstances).
- A campus attendant will sign a student in and out of the restroom.
- Time Limits:
- Restroom trips should typically take no longer than 3-5 minutes.
- Excessive time away may prompt a wellness check or administrative follow-up.
- Communication/Expectations:
- Only 4 students at a time are permitted inside the restroom.
- Beginning of the year slides will communicate procedures to students.
- Support from Campus Attendants:
- Campus Attendants will monitor restrooms throughout the day.
- Campus Attendants will maintain a sign in sheet with student names and time in/out of restroom throughout class periods.
- Campus Attendants will check inside the restrooms every 15 minutes and verify over the radio.
Accountability and Misuse:
- Misuse of Passes (e.g., loitering, skipping):
- May result in a warning, parent contact, or possibly escort sto the restroom.
- Repeated issues may involve administration.
- Digital Google Form will track student time out of class, students who are spending excessive time out of class will be referred for further intervention.
