State Law allows students to have cell phones on campus in case of an emergency; however, cell phones are to be OFF and in backpacks when entering campus.
Students are forbidden from using cell phones to:
- Call or receive phone calls
- Send or receive text messages
- Take photographs
- Record students or staff
- Access the Internet during school hours
Cell phones seen or heard will be taken without warning.
It is the guardian’s responsibility to pick up any cell phone that is confiscated.
(Phones will NOT be given back to students at the end of the day, solely guardians.)
Disciplinary actions may also be taken for continued defiance.
The school is not responsible for lost or stolen cell phones.
