LMSV Independent Study Program
With a focus on personalized achievement and discovery TRUST Blended Learning puts students in an environment where they can learn, be successful, and naturally discover their true passions. We blend a successful combination of independent study and the traditional classroom experience.
We offer two unique pathways, a traditional home school pathway and a blended learning pathway which includes online learning, independent work, and in-person learning.
Students can enroll throughout the year. New family orientation meetings occur weekly. If you would like to enroll your child or schedule a time to discuss our educational options contact our school office at (619) 771-6080.
La Mesa Dale’s beautiful new 192-foot playground mural was painted by Grossmont College Art students under the leadership of Jennifer Bennett, Professor of Drawing and Painting. Over the last semester, Bennett’s art class developed the idea for the mural and spent 4 days on campus during October Break, painting it on our playground wall.

La Mesa Dale has a beautiful school garden and recently received the Sage Garden Grant. The grant supports experiential learning that supports learners of all styles and abilities. The goal is to help kids enjoy eating more fruits and vegetables. By developing our hands-on kitchen and garden skills we strive to provide our future generations with opportunities to enjoy more nourishment and less processed food.
To that end, our amazing Garden Teacher, Ms. Aida, has created a series of Garden Lessons that students and families can enjoy - even while we’re in distance learning. You can access a variety of garden lessons here: La Mesa Dale's Garden Lesson Playlist
Please review the attached. Hard copies are available in the office.
