La Mesa Arts Academy serves 6th – 8th graders!

It is the goal of LMAAC to provide students with an innovative arts program where they perform in visual arts, dance, music, and theater using an interdisciplinary curriculum that develops creative talents in order to attain measurable artistic and academic excellence, while also creating opportunities that will support our underlying principle of character and leadership!

School Announcements:

For the 2027 - 2028 school year, we will have grades 6-8. This will be the home school for our residents in grades 6-8. You can check your address here. The open transfer window will be open December 1, 2026 - February 15, 2027. Families that applied for a transfer during this time will most likely be notified by the end of February if they have been accepted. All transfers received from February 16, 2027, forward will automatically be placed on a waitlist.

If this is your home school and your student is not currently attending in our district, you will need to enroll your student here beginning February 1, 2027. If you are waiting on a transfer approval, please do not enroll until your transfer has been approved.

Because we take our residents first, we do not offer school tours. We encourage interested families to attend one of our performance events to get a feel for LMAAC and what we're about. Dates for these events can be found on the LMAAC school calendar below. Tickets for these events are on sale 2 weeks before the event date and can be purchased at: https://www.lmartsfoundation.org/tickets
