Early Admission Kindergarten (EAK)

Early Admission Kindergarten (EAK) is a free, state-funded, full-day kindergarten program. EAK is for children who will be five years of age by March 1, 2020 and are not currently enrolled in kindergarten or transitional kindergarten. The program is open to all eligible students living in the community. Participation is voluntary and not designed to take the place of kindergarten. Students participating in the EAK program will enroll in kindergarten for August 2020.

Enrollment is limited to the District average for Kindergarten of 25 students. Priority will be given to older students residing in our attendance area. For your convenience, registration forms will be available at LMSV elementary sites October 21, 2019. Registration appointments may be made after October 25, 2019. You must make an appointment to complete the registration process at the LMSV Early Childhood Education Center located at 4811 Glen Street (Room 1), La Mesa, CA 91941. Please call 619-771-6082 (x2360) to make your appointment or for additional information. The EAK class will be formed December 13, 2019.
