Builders Club at Parkway Middle School Serves the Community with Kiwanis Partners

PKMS Builders Club

“Be the change you want to see in the world,” is an infamous quote and the staff and students of the Builders Club at Parkway Middle School are living this message through their work in service to the community. The Builders Club at PKMS works with the Fletcher Hills Kiwanis Club to connect with students and the community to spread the message of kindness. A video about the Builders Club, their efforts to serve the community, and their partnership with Kiwanis can
be viewed below.

The Builders Club at PKMS is led by principal, Mary Beason, and teacher, Amy St. Cyr. Students gather on their own time before and after school, on the weekends, and during breaks to engage in a variety of service projects.

Throughout the year, Builders Club visits with local seniors, supports a local animal sanctuary, collects supplies for veterans, conducts community and campus beautification, and holds fundraising events to benefit those in need.
