We believe in transparency and partnership between our coaches and families. To support your athlete’s development at home, we provide access to our complete library of practice materials. These guides detail the drills and skills included in our curriculum, allowing you to reinforce what is being taught on the field.
- Adaptive Pacing: Please note that our coaches are encouraged to adjust the pacing of these lessons to best suit the skill level of their specific team. These resources are intended as a supportive tool rather than a strict daily schedule.
Sport Rules and Guidelines
To ensure safety and maximize learning, ESSPN utilizes a specific set of rules tailored for our student-athletes. We encourage you to review the rulebook below. Familiarizing yourself with these rules will help you follow the action on the field with clarity and confidence.
Respecting the Game:
Please remember that our coaches and officials are doing their absolute best to provide a fun and safe environment for your children. We ask for grace and patience as they facilitate the game.
- Have a Concern? If you have specific questions or concerns regarding rulings, please do not approach officials during or after the game. Instead, please direct your feedback to ESSPN@lmsvschools.org.
- Expectations: For a full overview of our spectator standards, please review our Parent Code of Conduct.
Social Emotional Learning (SEL)
At ESSPN, we coach the whole child. Our curriculum is deeply rooted in Social-Emotional Learning, utilizing our “Meaningful Play” philosophy. We view sports as a vehicle to teach vital life skills such as resilience, integrity, emotional regulation, and teamwork.
Parent-Friendly SEL Guidebook:
To help bridge the gap between the field and home, we have created a guidebook specifically for families. This resource outlines the core principles we focus on each week, giving you the tools to reinforce these valuable life lessons and continue the conversation with your athlete off the field.
