  • Family fun!
  • A picture is worth a thousand words.  I love my family (including our dog Sam), I enjoy traveling to places near and far, including Europe, Southeast Asia, the American Southwest, and Napa, California.  I like to camp in our tent or vintage 1967 Aristrocrat Lo Liner trailer.  We have camped in Utah, Montana, and all over California, from the Trinity Alps in the far north of our state to San Elijo State Beach, right here in San Diego.  By far, the beach is my favorite place to be.  I love to play in the waves with my kids and then relax in the sand while soaking up the vitamin D from the sun.

Since I was in 4th grade, I wanted to be a teacher.  I achieved that goal in 2008 when I earned my teaching credential from Sonoma State University.  This year is my second at Loma teaching 6th grade.  I truly enjoy what I do, and the relationships I build with my students.  Besides teaching, I hope to someday become a published author.

My goal as your child’s teacher is to prepare him/her for success in college, career, and a global society.  I will provide your child with strategies to deepen their understanding in all subjects, think critically, problem solve, integrate technology into learning, and work collaboratively.
